PROJECTS

TLP is partnering with established and emerging leaders who have taken the initiative to help develop their nations. This is a part of developing character in their own lives as well. Here are some of the projects we support through these leaders.

Flame of Hope African University (Yimdi, Burkina Faso) – Partner:  Fondation Parole d’Espoir

A character-based, multi-discipline, multi-lingual  university in the center of west Africa

 

Gitega International Academy (Gitega, Burundi) – Partner: Burundi Youth for Christ

An international school with a very high academic and character standards in the center of Burundi

 

Leadership Training and Mentoring

Leadership Training and Mentoring (Cape Town, South Africa) - Partner: David and Denise Kadalie

Developing leaders through training and mentoring across Africa

 

Business and Public Service Leadership Training (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia) – Partner: CALD Africa        

Training seminars which will be followed by ongoing direct mentoring with an emphasis on character

 

“Future Leader” Child/Youth Development

LifeCenter Widow and Orphan Project (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia) – Partner: LifeCenter

Assists women (primarily widows) who build households of orphans for their safety and nurture

The American Montessori Leadership Academy (Freetown, Sierra Leone) - Partner: LEAD Africa

Develops future leaders through quality Christian education

 

Peniel School (Niamey, Niger) – Partner: Youth for Christ-Niger

A K-6 day-school in a marginalized community

 

Nyamusi Community Resource Center (Kuria, Kenya) – Partner: Nyamusi Community Resource Center

A vocational training center in a marginalized community

 

Village of Hope (Yimdi, Burkina Faso) – Partner: Fondation Parole d’Espoir

A boarding school for village children who do not have access to good education

 

Future Hope School (Cibitoke & Gitega, Burundi) - Partner: Burundi Youth for Christ

K-12 schools in communities that do not have access to good education

A K-6 boarding and day school in a marginalized community

An orphanage in marginalized community

 

 “End Hunger” Farming Projects

Moringa Farming Project (Niamey, Niger) – Partner: ARUDMO

A farm which is supplying the super-food Moringa to people, and training young farmers to grow it

 

Agricultural Training Farm (Burkina Faso) – Partner: Fondation Parole d’Espoir

A farm which is training young farmers, and supplies food to the Village of Hope

 

Leadership and Agricultural Training Farms (Benin) – Partner: Hope for Youth Foundation

Farms which are training young leaders and giving vocational skills to sustain that leadership

 

Community Health

Le Pan Initiatives (Chakfem, Nigeria) - Partner: Le Pan Health and Wellness Initiatives

Initiatives that are striving to bring health, happiness, wellness and clean water to remote villages.

Scholastica Memorial Hospital (Kuria, Kenya) – Partner: Kuria Development Community for the Marginalized

A hospital in a community where most do not have access to good medical care

 

Source of Life Maternity/Pediatric Clinic (Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso) – Partner: Fondation Parole d’Espoir

A well equipped clinic which will serve those who cannot afford goverment or private health care

 

Shammah Health Center (Gitega, Burundi) – Partner: Burundi Youth for Christ (website?)

A clinic in a community where most do not have access to good medical care
